Xavier Mortimer And Planet Hollywood Are Making History In Las Vegas

Xavier Mortimer has quietly been making history in Las Vegas with the help of Planet Hollywood as the first-ever former Cirque du Soleil performer headlining his own show. The result? Planet Hollywood is extending his show on the Las Vegas Strip.

Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream is a 70-minute production showcasing his talents in defying physics and puzzling the mind. Mortimer has 14 illusions with featured characters such as Mary Poppins, Charlie Chaplin, and the animation of Mickey Mouse. The show is the first on the Las Vegas Strip to showcase the talents of a former Cirque du Soleil performer as the headliner.

The talented French magician has performed in over 30 countries around the world as part of Cirque du Soleil’s acclaimed production, Michael Jackson One. His earlier stage work began as a student at the Music and Dance Conservatory of La Rochelle, the Desmond Jones Acting School in London, and the Jacques Lecoq Acting School in Paris.

You may recognize Mortimer from his fourth-place win on France’s Got Talent or on The CW television show Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Though his levitation jump rope trick impressed Penn and Teller, they were not fooled. But Mortimer has his former and current accolades to validate his talents and Planet Hollywood agrees leading to an extension of Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream.
