Legasea
The new dining concept by the TAO group is offering some innovative dishes, blending cuisines and flavors in a menu that has a wide appeal. The prix fixe menu includes favorites like spicy crab beignets, wild branzino, three piece fried chicken, and the restaurant’s signature sundae. Located around Madison Square Garden, its also a perfect locale for travelers looking to see midtown in full swing under the bright lights of Times Square or those looking to take in a Broadway Show. The TAO group have established themselves as one of the leaders in the city’s nightlife trends, so Legasea follows in suit with a dining experiences that elevates atmosphere and experiencing the meal more than anything.
db Moderne Bistro
With this bistro constantly making waves with innovative new dishes, the menu features interesting takes like oxtail ragu with mint and pecorino, coconut dacquoise, and a wide range of options through their dinner and lunch menus.
Fifty
This West Village outpost is tucked away from the wandering tourist. Located on Commerce Street, Fifty is hidden in the Village’s network of winding streets lined with brownstones. The restaurant is located directly across from the Cherry Lane theatre, making it the perfect spot to coordinate dinner and drinks before a show. The restaurant features a blend of American and Ecuadorian cuisine with a tasting menu of $42 per person. The menu will feature favorites like the shrimp “encocao”, steak, and carrot cake.
Bedford & Co.
For those looking for options at any hour of the day, this restaurant in Midtown East is offering brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, costing 29, 42, and 42 dollars, respectively. Dining options include everything from chicken and waffles to slow roasted pork. Each meal also comes with two course followed by a dessert course, making this a perfect option for those on-the-go but wanting to experience restaurant week.
Boulud Sud
This Mediterranean restaurant, from the culinary legend, Daniel Boulud, is on of our favorite restaurants to frequent for any day. To experience it during restaurant week is an absolutely must. With entrees like a harissa lamb burger or grapefruit givré, both the lunch and dinner menus are well priced too at 29 and 42 per person for lunch or dinner.
Untitled At The Whitney
This chic restaurant, located in the ground floor of the Whitney Museum, is New York’s ultimate brunch spot. With a series of small plates on the menu perfect for sharing, each packing a big punch of flavor, the restaurant is the perfect blend of artful eating with a lot of flavor to back it up. The big, floor to ceiling windows encasing the restaurant also make it the perfect place to beat the cold and see others waiting in line for the museum upstairs.
