Peter Facinelli Shares His Haute Guide To Los Angeles
Peter Facinelli knows Los Angeles like the back of his hand: he has, after all, been living and acting in the City of Angels since 1995. Most recently, the star—who turns 44 on Nov. 26 despite looking decades younger—starred in The Wilde Wedding, a film loosely based on filmmaker Damian Harris’ mother’s fourth wedding, playing the son of Jonn Malkovich and Glenn Close, the “wild” child of the Wilde family. Facinelli has also completed production on Michael Caton-Jones’ thriller Asher, starring opposite of Famke Janssen, Ron Perlman and Richard Dreyfuss. Past credits include, most recognizably, the Twilight series films, and Can’t Hardly Wait.
Not only does he act, but in 2010, Facinelli started a production company, A7sle Films. A7sle Films’ first feature, Loosies, was a fast-paced dramatic comedy that Facinelli wrote and starred in about a successful pickpocket in the New York City subways, among other films. Adding to his writing repertoire, Peter co-authored a YA novel with New York Times best-selling author Barry Lyga. After the Red Rain, which was distributed by Little Brown Company and released on August 4, 2015. He has several scripts that he has written in development currently, and has just signed on to Executive Produce a series for CRACKLE, based on an original idea he pitched to them.Beyond that, Facinelli is also quite philanthropic, recently hosting a dinner for the Orthopedic Institute for Children (OIC) benefit in Los Angeles.
