The Second Annual Ondalinda Festival Is Coming This November To Careyes, Mexico

The very exclusive Ondalinda Music Festival is back for a second year and is coming to Careyes, Mexico this November from the 8th to the 12th. Ondalinda was founded with the mission of celebrating the vibrant Mexican culture through music, art, culinary delights in one of the most incredible landscapes. This year 450 lucky people will jet off to immerse themselves in music and beautiful weather while staying in either Ocean Castle Villas with staff, casitas, or glamping in the Polo Fields.

The festivities will kick off on Wednesday evening with a welcome reception at Playa Rosa Beach Club where music will be played all throughout the evening by a trio of cello, percussion, and santoor artists.

Thursday evening will mark the official opening of Plaza de los Caballeros and the Careyes Gallery with a talk by the founders of Ondalinda x Careyes, Lulu Luchaire and Filippo Brignone.

The polo fields will be illuminated with thousands of candles come Friday night. A feast of fresh meats and vegetables will be served throughout the evening until the night evolves into a dance party carried by the rhythm and sounds of the festival.

Saturday night will be the main celebration with surprises at every turn. The mythical Mayan Warrior art car from Burning Man will be back this year hosting a lineup of international artists and performers including Bedouin, Behrouz, Mira, and Guy Laliberté.

Decorated by Alex Grey, this traveling art piece was born in Mexico City and features a world-class laser, lighting, and immersive sound system that will keep guests dancing from day to night to day.

New to this year’s celebration, a Spa and Wellness component will feature a variety of yoga and meditation offerings, temazcal ceremonies, beach massages, and a transformative Mud Healing Ritual.
