Drake Has Been Collecting Birkins For His Future Wife
Because he’s investing in love. Isn’t that obvious?
Drake shared a lot of important things to The Hollywood Reporter that we’ll get into shortly, but none more shocking than revealing he’s an avid collector of Birkin handbags.
In the two part interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Drake shared his admiration for women’s Hermès Birkin bags and the intention behind it. The romantic rapper, actor, and entrepreneur is collecting them in the hopes to one day gift the intangible items of value to his future wife.
As a sign of his investment in her, I presume.
That may happen sooner than he thinks since. What he is doing is visualizing, putting things into existence, and acting as if he already as her. Such are the rules of the laws of attraction. That’s probably how he got the mansion with the grotto.
“When we first met, I remember Drake kept a picture of this insane grotto pool on his desktop. Waterfalls, the whole thing. He didn’t even know where the house was,” recalls manager and business partner Adel “Future” Nur.
“He just kept saying, ‘I’m going to have that house.’ And I really believed. I’ll never forget walking into that house with him in Calabasas [in 2012], and he literally wrote a check and bought it.”
Vision and dedication is what seems to sum up Drake in both the Birkins and business because he opened his home to The Hollywood Reporter to talk about his big push towards film and TV.
He plans to take six months to a year to himself doing films and focusing on projects with Netflix and Apple.
