Six YouTube Yogis You Need In Your Life
Hey yogis—and aspiring yogis—this one’s for you!
Are you ready to dive into yoga for the first time, but not sure where to start? Looking to fall back in love with yoga? In need of something to keep you motivated, like a 30-day yoga challenge? …Or have you been letting your yoga mat collect dust in the corner of your room (no judgement!)?
Consider this your call to action.
Grab your laptop, smartphone, iPad, or tablet and head to YouTube.
We’ve curated a list of YouTube yogis that you need to know, and follow. Whether you’re a zen master or a beginner coming to your mat for the first time these yogis are sure to give you the inspiration and motivation you need to get flowing, centered, and grounded.
Added bonus: You don’t even need to go to the yoga studio. You can do these classes anywhere—in the comfort of your own home, in your backyard, in your hotel room, at the airport, or on the beach.
1. Cat Meffan
YTT: Cat did her first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga London, and her advanced 300 hour training with The Yoga People in Thailand. She stays active in developing her practice and learning more about yoga through additional extra short courses, and she loves to attend workshops, too.
Fun Fact About Cat: Cat once played tennis with Serena Williams! Though, as Cat goes on to explain, it was “more like a couple of balls back and forth in which my last one went over the tennis court, into the neighboring park! Safe to say, I should stick to the yoga!”
I have to personally credit Cat with getting me back into yoga after taking some time away from my mat. Getting back into practice after a long hiatus isn’t always easy, and starting with her shorter flows proved to be the perfect way for me to tip toe back into daily practices.
The Rundown: From 15 to 60 minute classes, Cat’s YouTube channel really runs the gamut in terms of yoga flows. (This 20-minute power flow is one of my favorites for when I’m short on time but want to get a class in!) Choose from a variety of powerful, invigorating classes, or gentle and restorative Yin classes. You can also tune into Cat’s channel for clothing hauls, vlogs, yoga challenges, and personal videos, too.

2. Juliana Semenova & Mark Spicoluk

Fun Fact About Juliana + Mark: Mark (who shoots and edits all of Boho Beautiful’s content) used to tour and play base with Avril Lavigne! Juliana is originally from Ukraine, and moved to Canada when she was 10 years old. She was also an Olympic level rhythmic gymnast!
The Rundown: Juliana’s classes are powerful and compact—meaning you can fit one in on busy mornings, or when you get home from work. A little de-stress yoga class before dinner, anyone?
You can also connect with Juliana and Mark off the screen by joining them for a yoga class on their Positive Movement Tour—they’re traveling all across the US (9,000 miles!) in their van. All of the yoga classes are charity-based, and all proceeds will be donated to different local non-profit animal charities. Find out more about locations and dates here.

The Rundown: If you’re an athlete—a runner, surfer, rock climber, or golf enthusiast—Kassandra has yoga flows made specifically for you! Side note: even if you’re not any of the above, you’ll still love those flows. From beginner to advanced classes, to tutorials and challenges, Yoga With Kassandra’s videos will not disappoint. 5. Tim Senesi
YTT: Tim completed an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training with Tim Miller and has also studied Iyengar yoga with Megan Bello, and Anna Delury. Tim says, “I don’t feel like training is a one time deal.” He continues to deepen his own practice and refine his skills as a teacher by continuously taking trainings and attending workshops and intensives with teachers that inspire him.
Fun Fact About Tim: Tim loves going surfing with his dog Ollie almost as much as he loves practicing yoga!
The Rundown: If you’ve got a little wanderlust on the brain (who doesn’t?) treat yourself to a weekend, or week long, retreat with Tim. He’ll be in Ojai, California October 27-29, and in Bali March 17-23. Contact stacy@timsenesi.com for more information.
Can’t get away? Try Tim’s ‘30 Days to the Total Yoga Body‘ challenge instead. According to Tim, “by the end of the challenge you’ll feel stronger, more confident, and notice that aches, pains, and stiffness are leaving your body. More importantly you’ll develop a solid foundation in yoga practice where you’ll be introduced to the importance of breath, and alignment focused yoga.” Who says you can’t have a yoga retreat right at home, anyway!?
