Wendy Williams Launches Lifestyle App
Wendy Williams, lifestyle talk show host and personality just ventured into the digital stratosphere with the launch of her new App Wendy Digital. Haute Living had the pleasure to sit down with the newest “digital diva’ during a recent visit to Atlanta and chat about her wildly popular talk show, her excitement about her foray into the digital world and introduce us to her other digital App, WenMojis.
Wendy Digital is filled with tons of wildly entertaining content. Williams takes fans and tv viewers behind the scenes and gives them a touch of everything. From shopping her outfits as well as her collection for HSN, to behind the scenes daily clips showing Wendy hanging with her friends, doing daily activities and more. The new free App promises behind the scenes footage of Williams on and off the set, E-trivia and gossip and the option to buy the latest Williams brand clothing and accessories. And from what we have seen, Wendy and her team have outdone themselves with this App.
We caution you, however, limit your use to 30 minutes each day or you may find yourself with a slight addiction.
First, you need to download the free App and the rest is as user-friendly as they come. Click on Suddenly Wendy and you will find yourself entrenched in the 20-minute improv cuts. Like in Atlanta, she decided to take an adventure before she headed out of town and visit with two Real Housewives of Atlanta stars: Sheree Whitfield and Cynthia Bailey. First she stopped at Chateau Sheree for a tour of her home and the scoop on her latest beau . Then, she ventured down the road to Cynthia Bailey’s home for some juice and conversation and to get the scoop on her new beau Jason Williams.
But this is just the beginning of Wendy Digital. Head to the Hot Topics section for the day’s latest gossip, test your knowledge of celebrities with the cool trivia game feature that allows you to compete with other users and shop her clothing collection for HSN and other outfits that she sports on her show.
And when Wendy Williams does something, she does it big. So, with the Wendy Digital , she also introduced another App with her own“WenMoji” emoticons that include Wendy in various distinguishing Williams poses. “People tell me they can communicate just using a few of the WenMojis,” she says.
The WenMojis are wildly entertaining and have such a distinctive likeness to Wendy. From facial expressions and poses down to the smallest details including some impressive baubles, these emoticons could not represent Williams any better. Our favorite, of course, is the bling, including one sparkly cross necklace that she tells us is modeled after her real one (a 50th birthday gift from some special people in her life).
Constantly on-the-go, Wendy is working harder than ever but manages to keep herself looking fresh and staying on task. With her latest season of The Wendy Williams Show which launched in September, the new venture into the digital space of Wendy Digital and concentrating on the her family and their foundation, the Hunter Foundation, there is not much downtime for the media personality. But that’s okay. ‘I am going to keep working until I stop,” she says.
