Everything in Las Vegas is exciting! And Labor Day Weekend is no exception. The city takes its entertainment incredibly seriously. The nightclub’s look like concert venues and the lineups are something out of a festival. But, “what is Labor Day?” Believe it or not this is a top search. Quick history: Beginning in the 19th century, the first Monday in September was celebrated in honor of the American labor movement. End of class. Today, the tradition continues because social media browsing on the job can be hard on the body, you know? Here’s what happened during the Las Vegas Labor Day Weekend because what happens in Vegas ends up on Haute Living. You’re welcome.
DRAI’S NIGHTCLUB AND DRAI’S BEACH CLUB
This could be you, but you were at your home state. Rae Sremmurd performed at Drai’s Nightclub and Drai’s Beach Club. Every single they’ve put out spuns into a pop culture meme, catch phrase, and caption of some sort. Good call Drai’s. Who else was at their property? Only Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Mustard, Flo Rida, Boom Box Cartel, and T.I.

WET REPUBLIC
Steve Aoki’s energy is beyond the physical human experience. He’s a performer. Makes you feel alive with every beat and just in case you thought the experience was over here comes the champagne shower. Living it up to the name of the venue, yes, the republic got wet at Wet Republic. What champagne is he spraying?
Wet Republic was LIVE over the Las Vegas Labor Day Weekend. As if they could top themselves with Steve Aoki, they dared tried and succeeded. They brought out Kaskade and Martin Garrix too.

MARQUEE NIGHTCLUB
Just looking at him makes you laugh. Wait. The reason is not his height that he loves to joke about. You laugh because you remember his standup comedy. Kevin Hart brought more than hilarious his personality. He brought Floyd Mayweather, Ty Dolla $ign, Usher, Tyga, French Montana, and even the legend, the myth Dave Chapelle. Hats off to you Marquee.

TAO NIGHTCLUB AND TAO BEACH CLUB
If the catch phrases, “Ghostride the whip, Thiz Face, and Stunna Shades,” mean nothing to you, were you even in America in 2009? TAO Nightclub took it back with E-40 and TAO Beach took it forward with Kevin Hart and Usher. Now gas break. Dip, dip!

1OAK NIGHTCLUB
Most people call out from work when they’re sick, but instead 2 Chainz rolled up to 1OAK broken ankle and all in a custom pink flamingo wheelchair with gold spoke rims with a beautiful tall model in cameo.
JEWEL NIGHTCLUB
There’s this misconception about Las Vegas nightclubs that all they play is EDM. Based on this post, clearly that’s not true. But Anderson Paak? Even I didn’t see this one coming. Paak’s show at JEWEL sold out. And they kept up the momentum with Kaskade and Zedd performing over the weekend. Happy 28th birthday Zedd!
LIQUID POOL LOUNGE
The big venues can overpower the lounges in the city, but LIQUID stayed busy hosting several daytime pool parties at its property with DJ Shift, Scooter and Lavelle, WeAreTreo, and DJ Stretch performing from Thursday to Monday.
OMNIA NIGHTCLUB
Hands up, phones up…inside a spaceship? No. This took place down the Strip at OMNIA, but the scene was galactic. Martin Garrix was performing on Friday. Armin Van Buuren took over on Saturday and Steven Aoki closed out Omnia on Sunday.

HAKKASAN LAS VEGAS NIGHTCLUB
Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub brought out Cash Cash on Thursday to help kick off the mega roster for the weekend. Friday, Hardwell took over and brought on the confetti. Saturday brought Tiesto who brought Martin Garrix. And Sunday? Reserved for Calvin Harris, of course.

HYDE
Closing out the last weekend of summer was Hyde inside the Bellagio. Their elegant venue was transformed into a white wonderland for their White Party with ice sculptures and chilled bottles of champagne to complement. Good thing for us folk in Las Vegas, it’s Labor Day Weekend every day. We’re kind of spoiled that way. Get on your jet and fly over this weekend. There’s always some A-list DJ, celebrity, or hip-hop artist to see.
