The Game of Thrones star shared her new hairstyle on Instagram, adding a witty caption about her character in the popular show. “Mother of dragons meet Emilia. Emilia meet mother of dragons. If you squint just so you might never know.”
The references to Khaleesi, however, do not cease with Clarke’s newly platinum mane. She credited her transformation to hair designer Kevin Alexander and hairdresser Candice Banks, who are the creators behind Khaleesi’s enviable waist-long blond wig.
Clarke’s Instagram post has already garnered close to 2 million likes. One user playfully remarked, “Heck ya!!!! Now [you] guys are for real twins!!!!!!”
