John Dory
The vibe at The John Dory is always energetic and fun. Exactly what you would expect from Ken Friedman and April Bloomfield. Even more so that way during their daily oyster happy hour. Available 5-7pm monday thru Friday and 12-7pm Saturday and Sunday, the Dory has $2 $2 Oysters & Clams as well as offers on smoked haddock fritters, spiced olives, mussel toast, oyster shooters, prosecco, happy hour cocktails and more.
White Oak Oyster Bar
Happy hour never ends at White Oak Oyster Bar. All day, every day, oyster lovers can snag a dollar deal with a drink special on the side. Oyster HH selections change daily, so you’ll never get bored of the selection here, even if you are a regular.
Jeffreys Grocery
Jeffrey’s Grocery is famed for their raw bar and American fare. Their oyster selection changes daily so arrive for their 4-6pm happy hour and expect to be surprised and fed well at $1.50 a pop.
Belle Reve
Created by a crew from NYC’s hottest of spots (Employees Only, Macao Trading Co., Lucky Strike, Naked Lunch), Belle Reve is all about the good life and a good time. And that includes oysters. Their $1 oyster deal is available weekdays from 4-7 and can be ordered by the dozen and half dozen along with sides of baby-sized beers and loaded fries.
The Ten Bells
Ten Bells has been a LES favorite for years and their happy hour specials are part of the reason why. Their daily $1 oyster deal (5-7 weekdays, 3-7 weekends) is perfect for a post work wind down. Add a $15 carafe of wine and you can have the complete French seaside experience.
Ocean Prime
For the second year in a row, Ocean Prime has been celebrating summer fridays with their #TGISF oyster happy hour. Starting 2:30 every Friday and 4:30 – 7 on Saturdays, $1 oysters are paired with $10 glasses of Veuve Clicquot to kick the weekend off right. A selection of sushi rolls and happy hour cocktails are also on offer.
Brooklyn Crab
The oyster deal at Brooklyn Crab is just two days, but it’s all day on those two days. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays New Yorkers can pretend they are in Maryland and hit this two-story dock house for dollar oysters and no shortage of frozen cocktails.
Lure Fishbar
The two-fer deal daily happy hour special is too good to pass up at Lure Fishbar, where Josh Capon oversees the kitchen and raw bar. From 5-7, 12 oysters ring in at $6, 24 for $12, and 36 for $18. If you’ve still got room, try their $5 oyster shooters or an impressive plate for two that includes six oysters, four shrimp, four clams and two crab claws, all for $35.
