If you’re hitting a movie theater this week, make sure to see Spiderman Homecoming, which stars Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Zendaya, and the beautiful Garcelle Beauvais (a People magazine Most Beautiful pick). In the film, which hit theaters on Wednesday, Beauvais appears at Doris Toomes, the wife of super-villain Adrian Toomes (Keaton) and revolves a young Peter Parker, who returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of his mentor, Tony Stark (Downey Jr.), Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. This latest role is one of many for Beauvais, a Haitian-born actress who immigrated to the U.S. at the age of seven. She has appeared in films such as A Girl Like Grace, White House Down, And Then There was You, Flight, and hosts her own talk show, Hollywood Today Live; she has also appeared on series like Aaron Spelling’s Models Inc., NYPD Blue, The Exes, The Jamie Foxx Show and Franklin & Bash, among others. Above  all, in her opinion, her most  important  job  is  being  a  mother.  She  has  been  inspired  by motherhood  to  write  a  children’s book  series  entitled  ‘I  AM,’  addressing  identity issues  relevant  to  many  children  today. She  currently  resides  in  Los  Angeles  and  has  three  sons. Here, this supermom and Jill of all trades shares her haute secrets to the City of Angels.
