Quick Hits: Unwind at the Passerbuys Lounge

Nestled at the Canal Street Market and open now through April 30, Passerbuys (a website that was founded by Clémence Polès in 2015 and was inspired by her love of people watching—a place to collect the recommendations of stylish passersby) has put together a thoughtfully curated space designed to be a relaxing escape for visitors to take a break and enjoy a selection of books and records, furnished by West Elm.

Clémence Polès got the idea from the real recommendations of women they would see passing by, hence the name. They wanted to “create a physical space for the digital community that Passerbuys has become—a place where all the recommendations come to life, that can host events that put women at the forefront, and most importantly, a space where they can relax, unwind, and gather.”

Open until April 30, they will be hosting a number of events at the Lounge, with brands such as Sonos, Casper, Vanity Projects, Floss Gloss, and featuring incredible speakers like designer Mara Hoffman, model/activist Cameron Russell, Apartamento Magazine founder Omar Sosa, NYTimes Product Design Director Renda Morton, Sweetbitter author Stephanie Danler, and more.
