Pia Cohler hosted fashion designer Nellie Partow at her namesake boutique Pia the Store last week. The trunk show was the first opportunity for San Franciscans to shop Partow’s latest collections. Partow worked alongside Donna Karan and Calvin Klein before launching her personal line in the fall 2011. The New York-based brand’s clothing is refined, minimalistic with clean architectural lines, innovative fabrics, and a distinctive design aesthetic.

Singer, songwriter, and actress Janelle Monáe was in town over the weekend—she performed at the Easter Seals Bay Area’s annual spring gala. The event, which was held on Saturday night at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, marked the 90th anniversary of the foundation that provides services for people with disabilities and special needs. According to emcee Liam Mayclem, Monáe’s hour-long set included a tribute to the late great Prince.

The culinary lineup for BottleRock was released this morning. Headliners include Martha Stewart, José Andrés, and Masaharu Morimoto. The chefs will perform cooking demos at a special stage sponsored by Williams-Sonoma. Each culinary personality will be paired with musicians who will join the chef on stage. Stewart is teaming up with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis while Green Day is pairing up with Andrés. “One of the things that separates BottleRock from most other festivals is the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage,” Dave Graham, CEO of BottleRock Napa Valley and Latitude 38 Entertainment said in a statement. “There have been so many great moments on this stage, including Iron Chef Morimoto teaching Snoop Dogg how to roll sushi, and Michael Voltaggio using liquid nitrogen for a modern take on waffles while Flavor Flav cooked his own top secret fried chicken recipe to the crowd’s delight. We expect many more ‘only at BottleRock’ memories from this 2017 lineup.” For the entire culinary lineup which includes Ayesha Curry, Duff Goldman, and Tim Love, head to the BottleRock website.
