Nars Debuts Collection with Fashion Photographer Sarah Moon

The elusive and etherial fashion photographer that started as a model in the 1970s, Sarah Moon, has collaborated with professional make-up line Nars on a limited edition collection of products. The Sarah Moon treatment has been applied to a huge range of their famous make-up items from lipstick to eyeliner, delivering them with beautiful packaging and containers adorned with her photographs and diaphanous imagery.

Perhaps the most beautiful piece is the Glass Metropolis Mini Audacious Lipstick Coffret Keepsake Box, which features eight lipsticks in a range of colors from nude to deep red. There is a pair of lips etched into the frosted lucite case and is something even the most posh gals would be happy to keep on their gilded make up tables.

The feminie collection was Inspired by iconic cinema and François Nars and Sarah Moon worked together from the nostalgic futurism of Metropolis to set the mood for the season’s story. Every element of the collection blurs the lines between real and surreal, serving as a direct expression of their collaborative vision.
