Put the phone down and head to Mandarin Oriental for a Digital Detox Weekend Retreat Sept. 9-11. The whole weekend is set up to live in the present instead of obsessing about likes on Facebook, retweets on Twitter and the latest on Snapchat. Consider this detox for your brain.

That means do digital devices for 48 hours. Instead, guests get to pick out a regimen that rids the noise of technology from the mind. Those who just can’t live without a cell phone or laptop can opt for a partial detox, where devices are returned during times agreed on in advance.

Each guest lands a personal consultation to understand guests’ current device habits and choose their digital detox regimen.

The weekend starts with a welcome reception. On Saturday, Sept. 10, guests start the day with yoga, followed by smoothie breaks, a discussion about nutrition, an introduction to sound meditation and a group sharing session. Sunday, Sept. 11, repeats some of these sessions and adds a guided chakra meditation and a lesson in Pranayama breathing techniques that help alleviate stress. Free time on both days gives guests time at the pool, spa or in the room.

The package requires a two-night stay and starts at $699. Book it here.
