With warm sophisticated décor and rustic ranch country-chic accommodations, the lodge’s new Villas & Suites are redefining luxury in the Carmel Valley. The villas and a two-story building that houses the suites are nestled among 26 enchanted acres of premier wine country land that is dotted with organic gardens, orchards and vineyards.

There are two types of suites—the Valley Villa Suites and the Vineyard Villa Suites. The Valley suites are on the upper floor of a two story building. Each suite is 1,050 square feet of space with classic chic décor, vaulted ceilings, and sumptuous details. French doors open to a balcony with a fireplace and gorgeous views of the beautiful Carmel Valley. Both the living room and bedroom have fireplaces, giving the suite an intimate, cozy and romantic vibe. The master bathrooms offer a spa-like experience with free-standing two-person copper soaking tubs and rain forest showers.

The Vineyard suits are on the ground floor of the building and also are 1,050 square feet with living room, bedroom, two fireplaces, and spa-like master baths. Instead of a balcony, these suites have French doors that open to a spacious private terrace with its own fireplace and a relaxing outdoor shower. If you’re looking for something more grand, consider the Bernardus’s two villas. These two-bedroom, two and half bathroom suites are 2,100 square feet. High ceilings, a dining table that seats 12, and a wet bar with full size appliances make these spaces ideal for leisurely entertaining. The private terrace has outdoor fire pits and two private bath patios, each with its own outdoor shower.
