The Ritz Masters the Art of the Baby Gender Reveal

Few things bring greater joy than welcoming new life.  Parents-to-be who are lucky enough to do so have to keep up with evermore elaborate pregnancy traditions. Now, in addition to the baby shower, parents-to-be are going for the big “gender reveal” in the form of haute gatherings.

The Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne has just launched its Baby Gender Reveal Party Package, making it super easy for expectant parents to let everyone know the sex of their unborn baby with a party and pastries fit for… well a baby shower or a wedding.

Gender Reveal Parties have become essential events for trend-abiding parents who wish to celebrate this exciting news. It’s becoming more common to have a sealed envelope containing the sex delivered to a bakery where a cake is made with blue or pink frosting beneath a layer of white fondant. Then, with a cut into the cake, everyone can discover the news together.

However, discovering the sex of the newest member of the next generation just stepped up its game with this luxe package, the brainchild of Executive Pastry Chef, Levi Richard.

The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne offers accommodations for ten or more guests with balloons, themed party favors, hors d’oeuvres, and a unique cake prepared for the occasion by Levi Richard. Richard, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, is a firm believer in the powers of cooking and its ability to express love. His sophisticated and refined skills in the kitchen are luxuries now available to expectant parents.
