Celebs Flock to Related Group’s Gran Paraiso Project in Edgewater
Quick – what do Italian NBA champ Manu Ginóbli, Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, superstar DJ David Guetta and pro tennis player Gaël “La Monf” Monfils have in common? They’re all future residents of Related Group’s Gran Paraiso project in Edgewater.
Monfils has bought into third and most luxurious condominium tower in the ten-acre Paraiso haven. There are a lot of things to like about the new luxury development, which will consist of multiple towers, greenspace and serious amenities such as tennis courts, bowling lanes, private marina, waterfront beach club, fitness center, spa, multiple outdoor yoga and Pilates areas, golf simulator, bowling alley, swimming pools, putting green, on-demand service for rental of Jet Skis and windsurfing, kayaking and paddle boarding gear, speed boats, sail boats, jogging circuit and more.
Of course, extras are wonderful, but when it comes to real estate, it’s about location, location, location and this one not only has waterfront views, it’s equidistant from Miami Beach and MIA.
Monfils purchased a three-bedroom, three-bathroom corner unit plus den on the 42nd level of Gran Paraiso. The unit boasts almost 2,000 square feet of interior space and a wraparound terrace of over 600 square feet with 10-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors. Designed in an open layout, the flow-through floor plan allows for uninterrupted views of Biscayne Bay, the ocean over Miami Beach and the city’s skyline.
Monfils, a native of France, was in the number one slot in French men’s tennis in 2008, and number seven worldwide. “It fits my lifestyle, with lots of space, natural light and amazing views,” Monfils said about the floor plan of his newly purchased unit. “Its design makes it the best tower in Miami.”
