The Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Rey Unveils A Luxe New Look
Guests who stay at the extremely private, super swish Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Rey are in for a sweet treat now that the tony hotel has undergone an ultra-luxe remodel.
Under the direction of design firm Parker-Torres Design Inc, sea elements have been incorporated into the guest rooms (there are 304 guest rooms and suites on site) and Club Lounge, adding an organic ambiance to the waterfront Silicon Beach (the home of LA’s tech and start-up scene) hotel.
You’ll find nature-inspired touches drawing from the epic SoCal sunsets in the updated rooms, which feature warm hues of orange and gold as well as oceanic tones of blue to create a look that can best be described as elegant but understated, approachable luxury.
Each room also features custom-made artwork, as well as distinctive elements such as geode embellished lamps, an ornate sea urchin headboard and textured window curtains adorned with weaving that resemble fishing nets.
Additional upgrades include a backlit mirror in each marble-finished bathroom, a comfortable task chair for each desk, 49” flat panel televisions and Nespresso coffee machines.
The Club Lounge, which is located on the 11th floor of the hotel, incorporates many of the same guest room finishes.
The hotel’s General Manager, Tony Mira, discussed the renovation, stating, “We are excited to showcase this new and improved guest room product that truly embraces Marina del Rey. The high-end finishes, combined with our recent technology upgrades, attract a wide range of cliental that set us apart from our competition.”
The Ritz-Carlton is located minutes away from LAX, Venice Beach, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. The hotel is known for its privacy, farm-to-table restaurant, Cast & Plow, its luxury spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center with eucalyptus stream rooms and full showers, as well as offering L.A.’s only waterfront pool. The resort is also L.A.’s only AAA Five Diamond waterfront hotel.
