NYC: Taste 80 International Desserts At This One-Night Event

Eighty of the world’s greatest pastry chefs and confectioners, such notables as Jean-Paul Bardet, Sadaharu Aoki, Pierre Hermé, and François Payard, will showcase artful desserts from around the globe for one night in New York City.

On April 4, the Eventi Hotel will host “Around the World in 80 Sweets,” presented by Relais Desserts Association, a members-only organization representing 19 countries, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Along with a selection of bites prepared by some of New York City’s most exceptional chefs, including Anita Lo, Marcus Samuelsson, Bill Telepan, and Geoffrey Zakarian, guests will be able to sample an assortment of treats from various corners of the world, while sipping complimentary refreshments.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit City Harvest to help fight hunger in New York City. Each ticket purchased will help rescue and deliver 500 pounds of food that would otherwise go to waste.

For $125 per guest with an additional fee of $7.87, tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite. Additionally, guests have the option to donate to the organization, and every $1 donated will help feed four people.
