Downtown Crossing has recently received a multi-million-dollar facelift that includes the sleek new addition known as The Godfrey Hotel. The luxe boutique hotel is located in Downtown Crossing and features everything you would expect to find from a high end hotelier but on a smaller scale (think Frette Egyptian cotton linens, LED HDTVs, Bose Bluetooth speakers and in-room spa services). The architecturally restored property is centrally located just steps from the Opera House in the Theatre District and Downtown Crossing.

Inside, the gorgeous property features a modern design complete with white marble, 24-hour fitness center, executive guest rooms, suites and even a corner loft. Step into the main lobby that features a small bar where you can enjoy a cocktail at night or a complimentary continental breakfast each morning complete with coffee, juices, bagels and bakery items.

Later this summer, the chic hotel will unveil an on-site chef inspired restaurant (which we are anxiously awaiting) and coffee shop. Downtown Crossing has been revitalized in the past few years transforming the former Filene’s building into the Millennium Tower with other residential buildings under construction. A step inside the tranquil hotel will transform you into your own private oasis away from the nearby bustling shopping area and bright lights of the Theatre District.
