Pronovias & Celebrity Makeup Artist Pati Dubroff Partner for “Bridal Look” Master Class
Pronovias, a Fashion Group that continues to consolidate its position as a global leader of the bridal world year after year, threw a collaborative event with celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff this Tuesday, February 2nd, which consisted of a master class to achieve the Pronovias bridal look. Having started out as a family business in Barcelona in 1922, Pronovias is now a world renowned luxury company offering the finest high-end bridal gowns and present in more than 105 countries with 155 stores and more than 4,000 sales points.
Featuring gowns from the Atelier Pronovias 2016 collection, Pati demonstrated three key looks designed to complement the stunning Pronovias gowns. She also gave tips on choosing the perfect makeup look to match your gown – which is always a struggle.
In her own words: “it’s about approaching the look as what’s going to make this woman look like the most incredible version of herself.” We love it. For those engaged gals out there, the Pronovias look is the way to go for your special day!
The three gorgeous gowns that were featured, were designs from the 2016 Atelier Pronovias collection. The Vanila model, also known as a mermaid wedding dress, is designed in crepe with a bateau neckline decorated with gemstone embroidery on the shoulders and features and embroidered square back. Did someone say embellished? Is was one of our favorites. This glamorous gown was paired with an equally glamorous makeup look put together with bold graphic eyeliner and soft flushed lips and cheeks. We hear it’s the look of the season.
The Vicenta model, a sexy crepe mermaid dress with nude details and sheer illusion tulle bodice was adorned with rebrodé lace appliqués with a crepe mermaid skirt and narrow belt. To go with this modern city look, Pati suggested a rich berry lip and a nude eye wit subtle contouring. Can we just wear this around the house please?
Last but definitely not least was the Ianira, a sleeveless satin A-line dress with a bateau neckline and plunging round back. The makeup look chosen to complement this gown was a classic face, with peachy golden tones and soft smoky eyes. No one can argue with the classics.
Hair was all done by Kai Stamps from Schneider MGMT.
The event took place at the Pronovias Flagship Store in New York City and on social media at the hashtag #PronoviasMasterClass.
