Haute Secrets Boston: The Pallotta Sisters, Owners of Nebo Cucina & Enoteca
Christine and Carla Pallotta became a household name here in Boston when they first opened Nebo Cucina & Enoteca in the North End more than a decade ago. Word soon got out how good their food was and the Pallotta sisters decided to expand to their spacious waterfront location across from the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

The beautiful restaurant was designed to resemble a step inside an Italian neighborhood with its soaring brick ceilings and gorgeous marble countertops. The authentic Italian menu here includes everything from slow braised meat Bolognese served with handmade pasta and crispy pizzas topped with goat cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onions and sage to their infamous layered zucchini lasagna, a “Bobby Flay Throwdown” winning dish.
