StripSteak by Michael Mina Invites You to Wine & Dine with Darioush Winery
As any Miamian knows, the Magic City is iconic for many reasons – of them, Collins Avenue, its party-all-night mantra, and of course, Fontainebleau Miami Beach. And paying homage to its 1954 opening, this world-renowned hotel is bringing back its Cellar 1954 Wine & Dinner Series. Kicking-off the 2016 season with an indulgent Darioush wine-pairing dinner at StripSteak by Michael Mina, this series pairs the world’s top winemakers and wines with the award-winning cuisine of Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s signature restaurants.
As true foodies know, any restaurant by Michael Mina is a force to be reckoned with; and in the wine world, Napa Valley’s Darioush winery has earned a similar reputation. Founded by Darioush Khaledi and his wife, Shahpar, in 1997, this esteemed locale has since flourished to include 120 acres of Southern Napa Valley – becoming popular for the select variations of Cabernet, Shiraz, Merlot, Chardonnay, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc in its paramount Darioush Signature Series.
Fuse both greats together, and in the spirit of true Fontainebleau Golden Era-glamour, guests of this Saturday night’s event will be able to enjoy a decadent, five-course dinner that won’t disappoint. Starting at 8 PM, StripSteak’s Darioush Wine Dinner invite’s Miami’s finest to indulge in top dishes by StripSteak’s chef de cuisine, Derrick Roberts – like snapper crudo, air-dried crispy duck breast, wood-grilled Wagyu skirt steak, chilled Maine lobster, a spiced pineapple- and rum-infused cremeux, and more – all paired with seven different wines from the incomparable Darioush.
Ready for an unforgettable evening? We are, too. To join the fun, reserve your spot for StripSteak’s Darioush Wine Dinner here. Spaces are limited, and the dinner is priced at $225 per person, including tax and gratuity.
StripSteak’s Darioush Wine Dinner is the first of a series of Cellar 1954 Wine & Dinner Series events at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and will take place this Saturday, January 23rd, at 8 PM. The series will continue on Wednesday, February 10th, at Scarpetta with celebrated wines from Odette Estate and winemaker Jeff Owens. Both restaurants are located inside the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, at 4441 Collins Avenue.
