Jet Aviation’s annual La Bella Macchina kicked-off the 25th Anniversary of The Cavallino Classic, one of the world’s foremost and respected Ferrari exhibitions, on January 21, 2016 at Jet Aviation’s world-class fixed-base operation (FBO) at Palm Beach International Airport. Nearly 850 people were in attendance for the exciting event, which is the ultimate evening in speed and technology featuring 7 planes, 2 helicopters, 1 boat and more than 60 Ferraris.

Some of the most recognizable names in aviation from around the globe showcased an array of business-aircraft models on the tarmac, including the Gulfstream G280 and G450, Dassault Falcon 2000S, Embraer Legacy 500 and Lineage 1000, Pilatus PC-12NG, Airbus Helicopters H125 and a Bell 430. Held in conjunction with The Cavallino Classic, the event also featured the presentation of the Jet Aviation Cup, which went to Charles Benz and Fred Peters for their 1959 Ferrari 250 GT “Tour de France.”

The event benefitted the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, with a silent auction and rousing live auction raising a grand total of $46,605, including a 3-day tennis excursion to Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Cup with some of the most recognizable pros in the world going for $20,000.

Prior to the event, Jet Aviation hosted an aviation career seminar and tour for more than 60 children who are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County to educate them about the importance of business aviation and various career opportunities within the industry.
