How apropos that a luxury lingerie brand like La Perla would host the San Francisco Ballet and the San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary’s annual launch party, celebrating the 2016 Opening Night Gala – Provocative. The soiree took place Dec. 1 at the scenic Villa Taverna in San Francisco.
Guests who gathered to toast the upcoming SF Ballet season included Marie Hurabiell, San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary President, Jennifer Brandenburg, Gala Chair, Christine Leong Connors, San Francisco Ballet Trustee and Gala Dinner Chair, Avé Seltsam, Miles Archer Woodlief, San Francisco Ballet Trustee, Barbara Brown, Carolyn Chandler, Navid Armstrong and Allison Speer.
The San Francisco Ballet 2016 Opening Night Gala takes place Thursday, Jan. 21. The black-tie evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with a cocktail reception at dinner at City Hall. The Prosecco Promenade featuring complimentary Prosecco takes place at 7 p.m. in the War Memorial Opera House Lobby.
