Inside the 2015 Baby2Baby Gala

Hollywood’s most influential moms—including Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel and Reese Witherspoon—all stepped out for a ladies night out on Saturday night to attend the 2015 Baby2Baby Gala.
The guest of honor at the annual awards ceremony, held at 3Labs in Culver City, was Scandal star Kerry Washington, who was awarded with the organization’s Giving Tree Award for her ongoing support and continuous dedication to children in need.
She was joined by famous faces including Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Julie Bowen, Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan, Rachel Zoe, Jessica Capshaw, Busy Philipps, Shonda Rhimes, Russell Simmons, Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart, Molly Sims, Kelly Rowland, Ashley Benson, Selma Blair, Kourtney Kardashian, Jaime King and many more at the gala, which was sponsored by MarulaOil, Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors Foundation, The Walt Disney Company and Volvo Cars, and which collectively raised over $2.1 million dollars for the non-profit.
The dinner extravaganza was led by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo from Animal, Son of a Gun and Jon & Vinny’s, along with L.A’s top chefs including: Ludo Lefebvre from Petite Trois, Walter Manzke from République, Kazunori Nozawa from Kazunori, Steve Samson from Sotto, Sarah St. Lifer & Kris Yenbamroong from Night+Market, Roy Choi & Jon Favreau from El Jefe, Ben Ford from Ford’s Filling Station, Sarah Hymanson & Sara Kramer from Madcapra, Jessica Koslow from Sqirl, Ori Menashe from Bestia, Mark Rosati from Shake Shack, Michael Voltaggio from ink., Micah Wexler from Wexler’s Deli, Vic Casanova from Au Fudge, Amy Deaderick from Tavern, Dahlia Narvaez from Osteria Mozza and more.
The Spare Room, in the famed Roosevelt Hotel, created a custom bar for the evening. Samantha Ronson DJ’d the after party.
The cocktail hour included a silent auction featuring a lynx fur coat from THE ROW, a Chanel Paris Fashion Week Experience, a buy-out of Trois Mec, a private dinner + wine pairing from Jon Shook & Vinny Dotolo, and much more.
Program presenters included Jessica Alba, Shonda Rhimes, Julie Bowen and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. Additionally, rapper Ja Rule performed a set during dinner.
Led by Co-Presidents Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, the Los Angeles based non-profit provides low-income children ages 0-12 with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. By distributing new and gently used items to over 85 non-profit partner organizations including homeless and domestic violence shelters, Head Start programs and children’s hospitals, Baby2Baby will serve more than 100,000 children this year.
