Florida Yachts International at Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show
The Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show was held in the yachting capital of the world on Nov. 5-9. Florida Yachts International (FYI) had a big presence hosting their VIPs on board M/Y BRIO, a 125’ Heesen Motoryacht. They were celebrating this year’s record-breaking show opening with 8 vessels on display.
In addition to getting an up-close look at M/Y BRIO, once on board, guests enjoyed cocktails, champagne, hors-d’oeuvre and live music from the industry renowned Yacht Violinist, Nikki Glenn.
The M/Y BRIO was originally built in 1987, but looks like a brand new yacht with an extensive interior refit completed in 2015. It is the product of an owner with a passion for yachting and renovating vessels with classic tastes and modern finishes.
On Nov. 6 the show had a Jazz Night with a latin flair. The mega-millionaires from around the world gathered at the legendary Bahia Mar Marina Face Dock, better known as “Superyacht Alley” for the experience. Florida Yachts International showcased the 2009 151’ Delta Marine Motoryacht, M/Y Katya.
Guest mingled and enjoyed live music from Tomasito Cruz and the culinary skills of JC Catering. The evening allowed guests to get away from the docks and to enjoy the scenery from Katya’s exquisite Sky Deck, which features a full wet bar and jacuzzi tub that fits six people.
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida during the International Boat Show is one of South Florida’s finest yachting towns. It is lit up with the lights of million dollar superyachts, the street buzzes with the sounds of buyers from around the world and the evenings are filled with music from yacht parties on almost every dock every night.
Florida Yachts International is the number one shopping destination for luxury yachts and has a variety of vessels for cruising in splendor or fishing in style.
