Omni Hotels & Resorts Partners With Wines of Chile to Offer an Authentic ‘¡Destinación Chile!’ Menu

In its latest partnership with Wines of Chile, Omni Hotels & Resorts will offer a “¡Destinación Chile!” menu, featuring authentic Chilean cuisine and wines from wineries throughout Chile, from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.

A select team of food and beverage directors and chefs recently visited Chile to take in the culture and grasp a first-hand understanding of how Chilean food is made and paired with Chilean wine––which they will incorporate into the menu.

Inspired by the epicurean expedition through Chile, the menu will incorporate distinct flavors of the country in cultural dishes, such as empanadas, choritos con pebre (steamed mussels with tomato, onion, bell pepper, and cilantro), and milcaos (Chilean-style fried potato cakes).

Fred Dexheimer, a North Carolina-based master sommelier, will also be lending his wine expertise and industry knowledge and weighing in on Chile’s varietals.
