Miami Spice Enters Second Month with New Menu Items
Miami Spice is kind of a big deal, even if most restaurant goers forget to ask for the not-so-secret Spice Menu that offers up three-course prix fixe dinners for $39 at Miami’s top restaurants. Not so long ago, Miami Spice only lasted one month (August), but the popular promotion soon took over September. Now, restaurants have started to come out with new menus for the second September phase of the meal deal.
Tongue & Cheek has a new menu for Spice part II and The Forge is rocking a new menu that looks amazing – think of choices like Lobster Bisque, their famous Wedge Salad, “Forge Signature” Rubbed Petit Filet Mignon, Pastrami Duck Breast and a Chocolate Lava Cake with strawberry sauce. Morimoto has a Crispy Whole Fish that looks tremendous.
Fontainebleau has changed their game too for Michael Mina 74, Stripsteak by Michael Mina, Hakkasan and Scarpetta. Items include the Summer Crab Rolls, Black Angus Skirt Steak and Churros from Michael Mina 74 and so much more (see below). the one thing that doesn’t change? The discounted rate of $12 for valet parking.
Some hotels are even leveraging the promo— Villa Bagatelle is offering a 15% discount on rooms through September 30th to match their Spice Menu offerings.
