The stars were out in full effect this week at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
To kick off the fest, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and presenting sponsor Max Mara, along with InStyle, hosted their annual soiree.
Gathered at the historic Windsor Arms Hotel were celebrities including Naomi Watts, Eddie Redmayne, Susan Sarandon, Rachel Weisz, Benicio Del Toro, Tom Hiddleston, Dakota Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Brie Larson and Idris Elba. After Hiddleston and Redmayne embraced on the carpet, Hiddleston was introduced to Naomi Watts for the first time. The Green Room actors, Alia Shawkat, Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, arrived together and the trio stayed at the bash until the wee hours.
For this year’s fête, the theme was “Crystal Reflections” designed by Creative Director Frank Rea of Forget Me Not Flowers. Guests left the real world behind as they are encircled by stunning Swarvoski crystals that sparkled in the courtyard set in a garden of Mokara orchids and chartreuse hydrangea.
A special Max Mara branded VIP lounge featuring luxurious cashmere throws and sophisticated candlelight evoked the brand’s signature contemporary and elegant essence.
Guests at the fete also included Christian Slater, Paul Dano, Joel Edgerton, Ben Foster, Greta Gerwig, Lauren Holly Nicholas Hoult, Julianne Nicholson, Michael Peña, Clémence Poésy, Susan Sarandon, Michael Shannon, Sarah Silverman, Alicia Vikander, Patrick J. Adams, Luke Evans, Tyson Ritter, Idris Elba, Geoffrey Rush, Martin Landau, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Molly Ringwald, Patrick Stewart and Katheryn Winnick.
