MIA: Rubi Lounge Now Open in Brickell

Rubi Lounge is officially open and is predicted to be the newest Latin-inspired hot spot in Brickell. Located on 141 SW 7th Street, Rubi acts as a hybrid between a bar, lounge and restaurant. The 4,000-square-foot venue can cater to your different social events, whether it be happy hour, a night out, or place to get a bite to eat.

It’s no surprise that Rubi Lounge is decorated in anything and everything that is red to match the gemstone that it is named after.

In addition to being  flashy like a jewel with its extravagant chandeliers, the interior design also includes floor-to-ceiling windows, plenty of mirrors, and racy quotes written on the walls, some of which read  “Attack life, it’s going to kill you anyway,” and a mirror that says “You, me, French kiss, now,” that serves as a late-night photo op.

Rubi Lounge plans on setting itself apart from other Miami bars by their music. Rubi will be playing only music hits of Latin and international descent.

If the loud music and party scene isn’t for you, Rubi also has a midsize terrace with tables, a bar, and food service.

Their menu options are ranging from small bites to large bites including burrata, ceviche, yuca fries, satay, and burgers. Rubi is still working on their menu, so we’ll have to stay tuned for specifics.

Rubi is open Tuesday through Saturday beginning at 5 p.m.
