Etihad Airways Gets Luxury Concierge Team For A380 Flyers
Before you even land in Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways wants you to begin experiencing the extravagance of their culture. That’s why they teamed up with global concierge provider Ten Group to create a uniquely luxurious flying experience.
On Etihad’s Airbus A380 fleet exists The Residence; a class much above first where you have your own suite. And by suite we mean a living room, private shower room, and double bedroom. Features you would normally find on a private jet. This elite way to travel will now boast an Etihad Lifestyle Concierge team who will cater to the specified needs of these lucky travelers. The team will work side-by-side with the airline’s Residence by Etihad butlers, who were trained at the London Savoy.
In announcing the new service, Etihad noted that it will be a “highly personalized and discreet experience, providing access to a range of services including dining reservations, entertainment bookings, special events, destination information and lifestyle services.
Whether it is for a last-minute booking at a top London restaurant, tickets for a Broadway show, or even the purchase of a rare blue diamond, our fully connected fleet will enable us to assist guests staying in the Residence by Etihad with their requirements immediately, 24 hours a day, at 35,000 feet, and with the most professional levels of service.”
Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ chief commercial officer added: “We have chosen to collaborate with a provider possessing the global reach and expertise which meet the demands and expectations of our most discerning guests. With the launch of the Etihad Lifestyle Concierge, in partnership with Ten Group, we are taking luxury airline travel to levels never experienced before.”
The first Etihad Airways A380 flight flew from Abu Dhabi’s international Airport to London’s Heathrow Airport in December. On May 31st the airline deployed an additional A380 on a daily flight to Sydney. In the works is an upgrade of one of their double daily services to New York’s JFK by December 1st. Wherever the A380 may go, it is sure to be the most luxurious ticket in the sky.
