Céline Opens at South Coast Plaza
Luxury shopping mecca South Coast Plaza has become even more chic thanks to the new addition of its latest boutique, Céline.
The concept of the Paris flagship, Avenue Montaigne, has been adapted to the new store, located in the tony Orange County city of Costa Mesa.
The facade is composed with grey stone and green onyx and divided into two areas, selling ready-to-wear and accessories.
The first part of the store displays mainly accessories, from bags to sunglasses to leather goods. The second part of the shop includes a shoe and ready-to-wear area dominated by a wood and concrete Fos seating artwork.
The walls are treated in beige arenino (a warm stucco finishing), and the floor is realized in grey stone from Vicenza, roughly treated in its surface.
The space is punctuated by onyx, travertine, pebble stone, and black metal cubes.
The Danish artist FOS has designed bespoke furniture for the boutique, that complement Céline’s refined and rigorous aesthetic, including a lamp, a terracotta flowerpot and a sunglass and jewelry display in pink Portuguese marble.
Céline is the latest luxury boutique to join South Coast Plaza’s ranks; Chanel and A. Lange & Söhne have also recently opened.
