Want to be like B? If your dream is to follow in the footsteps of Beyonce Knowles, you can literally now do so—for a hefty price.
According to House of Borgezie owner Chris Shellis, the A-list songbird has shelled out $312,000 for his Princess Constellation stilettos (which those with the funds to do so can also purchase).
The brand’s owner, Chris Shellis, told Page Six that he’s been in talks with Beyonce’s team for months about the purchase. “It’s the ultimate; Beyoncé’s one of those fantasy customers,” he explained. “If you want someone to model your creations, you can’t get any better than Beyoncé. I’ve been told the stilettos are for her next video.” He also maintains that she purchased an $85,000 belt for the video as well.
If bling is your thing as well, know that the Princess Constellation heels boast 1,290 diamonds totaling 65.50 carats. They’re accented with blue, jeweled butterflies and red heels, and are available in platinum or 18-karat gold. Uniquely, there is also a sole and heel removal feature, enabling the wearer to quickly and simply remove the heel and sole upon any sign of wear. This feature, according to the company, allows the shoe to “last forever.” If they don’t, the British designer from Birmingham notes that the shoes—designed to make “every woman feel like a princess” (or like Queen B)—come with a 1,000 year guarantee.
Each pair of Princess Stilettos take around three weeks of pure intense skill and craftsmanship to create, with over 1300 diamonds painstakingly set in to the integral structure of the stiletto similar to any Royal Crown or tiara.
To date, only one other pair of the rarities have been purchased.
