How NFL Rookies Spend Their Fourth of July in Las Vegas

NFL rookies Melvin Gordon of the San Diego Chargers, Trae Waynes of the Minnesorta Vikings and Jay Ajayi of the Miami Dolphins celebrated their July 4th weekend at the D Las Vegas on Thursday night.
The trio dined at Andiamo Italian Steakhouse alongside the D’s owner Derek Stevens and his wife Nicole, and ordered lobster bisque before tackling the long bone 32-ounce tomahawk rib eye and lobster risotto.
After dinner, Gordon, Waynes and Ajayi checked out the packed Fremont Street Experience and couldn’t believe they’d never seen it before.
While they were walking back through the D, they passed by Longbar, where Gordon’s Speed Stick commercial was playing on the big screens. Guests went crazy, attempting to snap shots of him with the commercial on-screen as the rookies dashed out to valet where host Richard Wilk was waiting with their limo.
