Monday night Tinseltown’s elite all gathered for the New York City premiere of Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation.

The highly anticipated summer blockbuster event took place at Duffy Square in Times Square. Tom Cruise was seen sporting a navy blue suit with a matching tie. His costar Jeremy Renner attended the premiere dressed in a three-piece black suit and sporting the latest Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon timepiece.

He was also previously seen in the brand new pink gold Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon, which was recently introduced in white gold. The refinement of the design extends to the manufacture-made tourbillon positioned at six o’clock, where it immediately catches the eye.

Other Hollywood heavy weights in attendance were Alec Baldwin, who is making his debut in the Mission: Impossible franchise, and his wife Hilaria as well as Rebecca Ferguson, Dascha Polanco, Star Wars director JJ Abrams and Rogue’s director Christopher McQuarrie.

Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation is the fifth installment in the Mission Impossible franchise. As described in the synopsis, “with the IMF disbanded, and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces their most impossible mission yet.”

In the last installment, Mission: Impossible— Ghost Protocol, the entire IMF was shut down when the group was implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name. Released in 2001, Ghost Protocol raked in $603 million globally, making it the highest-grossing film of Cruise’s career.

Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation hit theatres July 31st.
