The Encore Resort and the Encore Tower Suites at Wynn Las Vegas will undergo a design refresh beginning summer 2015, with a projected completion date of fall 2015. The project includes updated furnishings, floor coverings, technology, aesthetics and record-setting custom bed linens.

Led by Architectural Digest Top 100 Designer Roger Thomas and the team at Wynn Design and Development, the rooms will retain the same luxurious quality and elegant look for which Wynn is known.

The room modification includes upgraded in-room 55-inch 4K televisions, as well as enhanced technological amenities such as convenient USB ports and outlets for mobile phones and tablets at bedside and desk with environment controls allowing guests to adjust curtains and lighting from the comfort of their Wynn Dream Bed. Other notable changes include Black Galaxy granite tops and custom-woven floor coverings.

“The genesis of the refresh was to enhance the environment so guests notice subtle differences that captivate them time and time again,” said Thomas, Executive Vice President of Wynn Design and Development. “The design plays with the natural light that compliments the flawless blend of neutral colors, textures and fabrics creating a bright, welcoming ambience coupled with added technology to heighten comfort and convenience.”

Upon completion of the renovation, Wynn and Encore will be the only resorts in the world to feature the highest thread-count bed sheets in every standard guest room. The resort invested $9 million and engaged a private manufacturer to produce the 507-thread-count, 100-percent Egyptian cotton linens exclusively for Wynn Resorts. The one-of-a-kind high thread-count bed linens will also be available for purchase at Wynn LVNV located in the Wynn Esplanade, and the Homestore found in the Encore Esplanade.

In addition, Molton Brown, London’s fragrance experts since 1973, has created their first hotel bespoke collection, “Coco & Tonka Bean” exclusively for Wynn Resorts. Available in every guest room at both Wynn and Encore, this collection of blissful scents are available in hand and body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner.

This is the first major makeover at the resort since it opened in 2008.
