Shaq Returns to Deejay at Chateau

Former basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal brought the house down on Saturday night when he appeared for the second time as DJ Diesel behind the turntables at Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas.

Exactly one year to the day since his deejay debut, Shaq arrived shortly after midnight to walk the red carpet sporting a casual ensemble with a stylish hat, black jeans and a T-shirt. With an entourage of friends and girlfriend Laticia Rolle, the retired athlete made his way to the deejay booth donning his signature gold headphones. The crowd erupted as he spun classic and contemporary jams including The Notorious B.I.G’s  “Big Poppa” and Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen.” Accompanying him through the hour and half set was Las Vegas DJ, J Nice.

Also spotted at the club was Rick Fox, Shaq’s former Lakers teammate. Fox stayed throughout the set, taking photos with fans and even hopping into the DJ booth.

Following his memorable performance at the turntables, the MVP enjoyed a long evening in a private VIP booth with friends.

Before heading to the club, Shaq stopped by the newly-opened Hexx Kitchen & Bar for dinner and ordered the grilled King salmon. Following his meal, he stopped by the adjacent retail store to check out some of Hexx’s signature sweets and even took part in a tour of their on-site chocolate factory.
