One For The Boys Fashion Ball Lands in London

Hosted by Samuel L. Jackson and Stanley Tucci, the One For The Boys Fashion Ball landed in London last night. The event, held at The Roundhouse in Camden, was in aid of the One For The Boys charity, which was founded by Sofia Davis and is chaired by Jackson, and aims to raise awareness of the various different types of cancer that can affect men.

Guests included Jesse Metcalfe, Freddie Fox, Ray Stevenson and singer Mollie King, as well as David Gandy, Daisy Lowe and Oliver Cheshire, “There was a lot of chatter online today…people talked about having or discovering or finding out about cancer in time, and going on to live honest and fruitful lives through early detection,” said Jackson at the ball. The evening also involved performances by John Newman and Paolo Nutini, whilst some of the celebrity guests took part in a fun catwalk show. Comedian John Bishop was strutting his stuff down the runway, followed by Gandy—who is no stranger to modeling—whilst Oliver Cheshire, Jack Guinness and Daisy Lowe also made an appearance. Alice Cooper was a popular addition to the fun catwalk as he stripped off his Belstaff jacket and worked the crowd. Looks presented in the show were by designers such as Tom Ford, Gucci, Hackett, Burberry and Ralph Lauren.

The fashion ball took place just as the London Collections: Men’s event launched in the capital, set to run until Monday. The celebration of menswear will present a range of designer shows and presentations and announced British Formula One racing champion Lewis Hamilton as the latest ambassador of the men’s shows.
