If you haven’t heard of Tomas Maier’s eponymous line of men’s and women’s clothing, bags, sunglasses, hats, shoes and jewelry, you should take note.

At Bottega Veneta, Maier has proven his talent as a designer creating singularly unique clothing and accessories for the shopper looking for uber luxurious ready-to-wear and accessories. Those in the know go to Palm Beach to purchase one of his fabulous swimsuits at the Tomas Maier swim shop, opened in 2010.

His foray into the 360-degree lifestyle brand for men and women launched in December 2014. Tomas Maier, opened its doors on 956 Madison Avenue with prices ranging from the humble $195, to the stratosphere-level of $5,500. It’s no surprise that his best selling items are his swimwear and knits. The moniker of the brand is a tiny palm tree which he embosses on many pieces on clothing labels. Why a palm tree? It’s all about easy breezy living and clothing that gets you there in style. Sitting under a palm tree can be a state of mind. Check out the downtown world of Tomas Maier on historic Bleecker Street.
