Sugar Ray Leonard’s 6th Annual Big Fighters, Big Cause

The gloves were off (and on) this week as athletes and stars alike stepped out to attend the Sugar Ray Leonard‘s 6th annual “Big Fighters, Big Cause” Charity Boxing Night. ·           

The event, which took place at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at the Hollywood & Highland Center, was presented in conjunction with B. Riley & Co.

Proceeds from the event supported the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation and their mission to raise funds for research and awareness towards a cure for Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and to help children live healthier lives through diet and exercise.

Attendees at the event included: Sugar Ray Leonard, emcee Bill Bellamy, Bryant Riley, Catherine Bach, Cedric the Entertainer, David James Elliott, Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam, Holly Robinson Peete and husband Rodney Peete, Jennifer Widerstrom, Jessica Sanchez, Jimmy Jam, Johnny Gill, Laila Ali and husband Curtis Conway, Mia St. John, Michael Buffer and Wolfgang Puck.

The evening featured a thrilling mix of professional and amateur heavy-weight bouts Sugar Ray Leonard ensured guests would be “better than the Pacquioao and Mayweather Fight.”

Guests at the event enjoyed cuisine by Wolfgang Puck, which included his signature chicken pot pie. The celebrity chef and boxing fan also made an appearance at the event to catch the fights.
