To celebrate the launch of the new lunch menu Tapas Revolution Shoreditch will be giving away 200 FREE burgers on Wednesday 20th May and offering 50% off the new lunch menu from Wednesday 20th to Tuesday 26th May.

A take on the traditional ‘bocadillo’ (Spanish version of the Great British sandwich) Omar has replaced the crusty bread with a soft brioche bun to create the ‘Buncadillo’ – the Spanish burger. He’s designed five delicious Spanish burgers for the menu using traditional Spanish ingredients and flavours. The Buncadillos include the ‘Chorizo’ – grilled chorizo sausage, rocket and honey sauce, ‘Calamares’ – deep fried squid with alioli and rocket, the ‘Tortilla’ – Spanish omelette, rocket and alioli, the ‘Huevo Frito’ – fried egg, crispy smoked bacon with a spicy, sweet and sour mojo dulce and the ‘Morcilla’ – black pudding, roasted peppers and fried egg, all served in a soft brioche bun.

The Lunch Menu also includes ‘Menu Del Dia’ (Menu of the Day). From Monday to Thursday the main course of the day is served with salad, bread and alioli for £10. This honours a nationwide tradition in Spain of feeding the local workers with traditional seasonal dishes. The ‘Menu Del Dia’ will change seasonally, dishes include; Lunes (Monday) Pollo Asado – 1⁄2 roast chicken with herbs and confit potatoes, Martes (Tuesday) Suquet de Pescado – Catalonian fish and potato stew with saffron and hazelnuts, Miercoles (Wednesday) Patatas a la Riojana – Chorizo and potato stew flavoured with dried nora peppers and pimenton, Jueves (Thursday) Paella – the famous rice dish with saffron and a rich stock.
