Michael Kors Lands On London’s Sloane Street

Luxury brand Michael Kors will be continuing its success with a new store opening on London’s Sloane Street next week. The company, known for its iconic handbags, will be setting up shop in the trendy London locale in a move set to expand its presence in the capital.

The new 1,800 sq-ft store is set to be the 8th store in London and will be stocking ready-to-wear and accessories from the Michael Kors Collection, as well as watches, jewellery, footwear and eyewear. “London is one of my favorite cities,” said the designer himself. “It’s fast-paced, glamorous and international with a truly unique style. I love the way women in London dress, and I’m delighted to be opening this Collection store on Sloane Street, which is undeniably chic,” he added of the latest move on British soil. As well as having the chance to shop the latest additions to the Michael Kors ranges, customers will be able to experience the brand’s first customisation service in the UK, where they can create their very own version of the popular Miranda bag. The interior of the store will be keeping with the company’s sophisticated elegance whilst evoking a feeling of jet-set glamour and a high fashion lifestyle with its large-scale vintage photographs, sleek fixtures and mirrored surfaces.

There can be no doubt that the Michael Kors store will be popular from the get-go when it opens next week. One of the brand’s best-selling bags, The Selma, is already in popular demand in the capital, with luxury London department store Selfridges selling an average of 225 of the piece every week.

Look out for the store when it drops next week on 29, Sloane Street in London.
