Meadowood’s Spring Gathering Oozes Style

CarterNothing says spring better than an April evening at Meadowood Napa Valley, where a lovely al fresco Spring Gathering took place on April 16, featuring fashion designer Karen Caldwell‘s newest creations, the latest cocktails by Scott Beattie, delicious bites by Estate Chef Alejandro Ayala and Kurt Inge Eklund photography.

A chic crowd, which included Joe Schoendorf, Charleston Pierce, Tanya Powell, Clara Shayevich, Fati Farmanfarmaian, Brandon W. Jørgensen, Ian Rountree and Lance and Ellie Winters, sipped Krug Grand Cuvee and The Mascot wine. Beattie, Meadowood’s Estate Events Beverage Director, debuted his stylish cocktails created with ingredients from the Meadowood garden. The cocktails, which were made with huckleberries, spearmint and verbena, included Huckleberry Gin Punch, Spring Collins, Thai Boxer, Hotel Nacionale and Vieux Carre.

Models clad in haute Karen Caldwell Design dresses, perfect for spring, paraded around the grassy glen while guests mingled and enjoyed Ayala’s scrumptious fare presented in innovative style. It was simply a stylish evening all of the way around.
