As one of the city’s most trusted luxury Real Estate professionals, the much-lauded Dora Puig has cemented herself as an industry titan throughout her 24 years of selling billions of dollars in high-end homes. It’s safe to say that the worldly, tri-lingual agent is an authority on South Florida Real Estate and where it’s heading. “I feel that the Miami market is sliding into a strong seller’s market,” says Puig, “yet, compared to other major cities in the world, we are still relatively inexpensive in the luxury residential market.”

Just last year, Puig sold an astonishing 53 homes throughout the city to a diverse list of the world’s most affluent buyers. “I work eight days a week,” explains Puig of her success, “because I love what I do. I love architecture and I enjoy working with people from all parts of the world.” Puig’s Midas touch is also due in part to her global aesthetic, being well versed in Real Estate territory outside of South Florida and the mileage she has acquired from her travels abroad. “I am very globally -minded,” says Puig, “I speak three languages and I am well-traveled with a lot of war wounds from the business; it gives me an edge over others.”

Puig’s competitive edge is no better exemplified than in her record-breaking sale of a penthouse at Icon South Beach. “We had it listed at $19 million and had two buyers outbidding each other,” details Puig, “we ended up at $21 million.” Puig’s ambitious listing price spawned a bevy of naysayers. “A very well known competing broker told me that I was nuts for listing it at that price,” Puig shares unabashedly, “and that I could not will it to sell at $19 million. I guess I have a strong will!”

Fast-forward to first quarter 2015 and Puig is focused on four trophy estate homes, listed upwards of $11 million and reaching $24 million, that she has added to her enviable portfolio including a large waterfront home in the Venetian Islands (above), estate in Morningside, a quintessential Miami “Beach House” (pictured above), and preconstruction Palm Island mansion with 100 feet on the water. The properties spanning Miami Beach are each outfitted with luxury interiors and details that would sway even the most discerning buyer. “They want great contemporary design with clean lines and no clutter,” Puig says of her A-list clientele, “rooms rich in textures with first class finishes sell.”
