This month celebrates the launch of French interior designer, Christian Liaigre’s latest design bible and coffee table book, showcasing the work of 12 of his recent projects from around the world.
The latest work, published by Flammarion and Liaigre’s third book overall is the designer’s first book in seven years, exploring a diverse and worldwide spread of recent projects from town houses in London and New York, beach houses in Belgium, opulent mansions in Malibu and Athens as well as two award winning yachts.
The production and layout of the book were carried out in house at Liaigre in Paris while a team of trusted photographers travelled the world to capture and showcase Liaigre’s diverse range of projects. The latest work and beautiful photography also showcases the way Liaigre has evolved as a designer in a creative, contemporary and timeless way.
“Like a great painter or writer, the creative decorator must rise above his private tastes and adapt, so that people will say, “My, how good we feel here!” Genius loci, the true spirit of place” says Christian Liaigre.
The book initially launches exclusively at Christian Liaigre showrooms at 52 Conduit Street W1 and 68-70 Fulham Road SW3, before being distributed in selected book stores nationwide from mid-May 2015.
