24K Gold and Platinum Phones on the Way From Samsung
Samsung is slated to release their latest flagship devices—Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge—April 10th. In addition, both phones will be available in variants of 24K Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum.
All three options were designed by Goldgenie, a London based luxury company that specializes in household customization such as mobile phones, game consoles and more.
There is a noticeable change in the exterior. The tech company has swapped its standard plastic casing for premium glass and metal build. The curved glass front of the S6 Edge has quite a modern design as well as fulfilling a new hidden feature known as the “People Edge.”
According to the customization specialists, “Goldgenie’s craftsmen pioneered the art of embellishing Samsung’s current Galaxy S5 and Alpha models in luxurious 24k Gold and the company’s CEO Laban Roomes recently presented the 24k Gold S5 to “Selma” star David Oyelowo who played Martin Luther King Jnr at an Oscars event in Los Angeles.”
As a result of Samsung’s aesthetic improvements, Goldgenie expects the new mobile devices to be highly popular among consumers.
The new mobile devices will be packaged in a luxury cherry oak jewelry box and personal sentiment may be added to the phone with a laser engraved name, motto or symbol on the back.
All three variants have been priced at $2,500. You may pre-order the device starting March 20th at 9 a.m. Pre-orders will conclude until April 7th. Phones will be available to order as normal on Samsung’s official launch date April 10th. The first batch of shipments will be sent out April 14-21.
What’s better than a 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum mobile device? The customized Samsung S6 and S6 Edge are scratch resistant and will come with a complete lifetime warranty.
