These days the merging of the food and fashion are as common as an old shoe, but its still a surprise that the New York based retailer, Club Monaco, opened a pop-up shop in of all places, at the five-star eatery Noma in the city of Denmark. The world-class restaurant is known for progressive Nordic cuisine, complete with nightly foraging for ingredients. Visitors to the concept shop can expect distinctively New York goodies including wooden yurts built in Brooklyn, Citizens for Humanity jeans and a curated grouping of Club Monaco’s most select clothing. They even brought rare books from NYC’s own Strand. The shop is open for three weeks during London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks, so fashion editors needing a break from the extreme hoop-la of shows can enjoy food like reindeer moss and cebb mushrooms, while also taking a bite out of the Big Apple’s best.
