Mr Porter Celebrates The British Gentleman

Men’s sartorial destination and luxury online retailer Mr Porter is celebrating quintessential British fashion through a new collection in collaboration with feature film “Kingsman: The Secret Service.”

Celebrating the “classic British gentleman’s wardrobe,” this capsule collection, which launched on January 13 with a one-day pop-up at one of London’s prime sartorial destinations, Savile Row, looks to immaculate dressing and impressive, sharp style. The 60-piece compilation, inspired by the spy thriller movie, was created in close collaboration with the film’s director, Matthew Vaughn, and costumer designer, Arianne Philips and supports British manufacturing by being produced in some of the finest and most ancient mills of the country, such as Holland & Sherry and Dormeuil.

If you weren’t one of the lucky few who managed to snap up some of the pieces from the pop-up store yesterday though, you’re still in luck, since Mr Porter has created their own microsite to launch the collection and help visitors discover their inner spies. As well as exploring the pieces, the links to the film and the inspiration behind it, users can try and find the hidden pin on the website for a chance to win $7,500 to spend on the Kingsman collection. And with the variety of items available—from aviation-themed watches by Bremont to leather apparel by Swaine Adeney Brigg, underpinned by collaborations with the likes of shirtmaker Turnbull & Asser and cobbler George Cleverley—there can be little doubt that this suave collaboration is the perfect addition to every dapper gentleman’s wardrobe.
